Certified Medication Aide

A Certified Medication Aide is a geriatric nursing assistant (GNA) that has completed additional classroom training to be certified to dispense medications to patients. Associate is primarily responsible for preparing and dispensing medications in accordance with facility policies and procedures and state law. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse, the Certified Medication Aide will also perform various direct patient care activities within the long-term care environment.
This is a full time position.
Qualifications or Certifications Required
Geriatric Nursing Assistant Certification.
Certified Medication Aide Certification.
Current CPR Certification.
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
