Food Service Director


The Food Service Director is responsible for organizing and managing the Food Service Department in accordance with all applicable regulations and guidelines. Associate acts as the liaison between the Food Service Department, the Administrator and other departments within the facility. The Food Service Director has the responsibility of integrating therapeutic and administrative aspects of food and nutrition as directed by the dietician or other qualified nutrition specialists.

Qualifications or Certifications Required

Prefer three years of demonstrated successful long term supervisory experience

Degree in Nutrition or related field preferred or completion of 90 hour course approved by the State Department of Health

Basic culinary skills preferred, plus ability to interact with people in rapidly changing situations

CPR Certification

Must be a Certified Dietary Manager
