Jill Rayfield, LPN, Named November Pearl of the Month
McCready Health nurse Jill Rayfield, LPN, of Crisfield, Md., received McCready’s PEARLS recognition award for November 2016.
For nearly 40 years, Rayfield has served as a nurse in McCready’s Chesapeake Cove Assisted Living facility, beginning her career right after graduation from Harford Memorial Hospital nursing school in Havre de Grace.
“She is always a team player and is always willing to lend a hand to assist residents and staff,” said Tammy Harrison, RN, CMDN. “She is a wonderful asset to McCready and we are blessed to have her.”
“I’m really thankful to Tammy and all of her support,” Rayfield added. “I love the area. It’s beautiful and full of Southern charm and hospitality.”
“PEARLS” is an acronym for “Promoting Excellence And Recognizing Legendary Service.” Patients, residents and family members as well as McCready employees and volunteers are welcome to nominate a deserving associate by completing a PEARLS card. PEARLS cards and comment drop-boxes are located throughout the campus to collect all nominations.
As McCready Health’s latest recipient, Rayfield received a framed certificate and a gift certificate. Her name was also added to the engraved plaque in the hospital honoring all monthly PEARLS. She is pictured, left, with Tammy Harrison.
