McCready Health Announces PEARLS Award Winner
McCready Health recently awarded the PEARL of the Month Award to Allison Marsh, RN, of Crisfield, Md.Marsh began her McCready career in 1994 as a night shift GNA. After earning her nursing license, she worked in both the Medical-Surgical and Emergency Departments before leaving to work as a travel nurse for a few years in the early 2000s while still keeping her PRN (as-needed) status. She returned full-time to the McCready ER in 2004, working there until she moved to the Alice B. Tawes Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in 2015.
“She is very deserving of this award,” said Novella Bozman, Administrator of the Tawes Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. “It was definitely our gain when she came to work for us and we appreciate everything she does.”
“I really like working here,” Marsh said. “You really get attached to the residents and I just love everyone I work with. Everyone is like family here.”
“PEARLS” is an acronym for “Promoting Excellence And Recognizing Legendary Service.” Patients, residents and family members as well as McCready employees and volunteers are welcome to nominate a deserving associate by completing a PEARLS card. PEARLS cards and comment drop-boxes are located throughout the campus to collect all nominations.
