McCready Health Hosts CNA/GNA Training Info Night
McCready Health and Wor-Wic Community College have teamed together to present a Certified Nursing Assistant/Geriatric Nursing Assistant (CNA/GNA) Class to be held in 2018 at McCready Health.All students interested in registering for this training must attend the CNA/GNA Training Info Night on Wednesday, October 18 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in McCready Health’s Community Room located in the Alice B. Tawes Rehabilitation Center, 201 Hall Highway in Crisfield. Doors close promptly at 5:30 p.m. and there will be no further admittance after this time.
The class will consist of an extensive program approved by the Maryland Board of Nursing featuring:
- Classroom and skills laboratory instruction
- A supervised clinical experience in the Alice B. Tawes Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
- The opportunity to qualify to apply to the Board of Nursing for certification and eligibility for the Geriatric Nursing Exam offered at Wor-Wic.
The Training Info Night will detail information about mandatory requirements, including diagnostic assessments, medical clearance, background checks and drug screens. Resources for financial assistance will also be reviewed.
